Morgan is a member of the board of Governors of APLA. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada, has asked her to replace him on occasions at AIDS related events. Additionally she hosted an AIDS Awareness Special alongside Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice for Nightline about AIDS. Morgan is nominated as an Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. Morgan was a co-star on ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife during the spring season along with Joan Rivers. Then, she began the summer season with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. It also had Cindy Williams and Marla gibbs. Next, she was sent to Luxembourg for the Harmony Gold's Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee also appeared in the show. Morgan has also been featured in a psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film was a huge success and received the most impressive ratings to date.
